So, here we have a developing story that really makes you think about why people fear wildlife more than the ones who kill wildlife. It has been known that hunting accidents kill thousands every year, yet people aren't exposed to this fact.

This example is just one of many examples that justify my anti-hunting stance. Not only does it destroy wildlife, but it takes numerous human lives every year as well.

A man was killed Saturday afternoon in Rusk County, Wisconsin due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the town of True.

Rusk County Ambulance Services responded to a 911 call of a possible gunshot victim at about 2:13 p.m. A male subject was transported to the Rusk County Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Rusk County Sheriff Jeff Wallace.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources along with the Rusk County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, City of Ladysmith Police Department and Hawkins Fire Department, through investigation found the subject was shot by a hunter in the area that was hunting for coyotes. The investigation is continuing.

I'm sorry to hear that. At least the hunter can't say he thought it was a coyote.
